The reason LG.Philips has developed this particular panel is very simple: anyone with a laptop will be well aware of the annoying problem of fingerprints screen, which is normally more on notebooks because the screen is often touched and better placed to view its contents. The thin layer of fat present sull'epidermide settles on creating panels so well known and annoying halos.
LG.Philips said that the production volumes of such panels will begin during the first half of 2008. By the end of that year, moreover, the technology will be extended to other dimensions panels.
